Clean Up Country Team
Keeping our parks and waterways clean starts with everyone. From changing the habbits of those who are dumpers and who have little respect for the envionment through to those who are passionate about keeping our parks and waterways clean and alive. Be an ambassador for our environment by picking up a piece of rubbish each day that you visit our parks or waterways or simply when you leave the house for a walk or some shopping. Or, you might like to champion yourself by going the extra mile by putting aside an hour or more with your very own Clean Up Country campaign agenda.
The 'Clean Up Country Team' is all about volunteering a little time to making a difference to Country.
Volunteering provides many benefits to both your mental and physical health. Volunteering increases self-confidence. Volunteering can provide a healthy boost to your self-confidence, self-esteem, and life satisfaction. Volunteering combats depression and helps you stay physically healthy.

We can all make an impact, Less litter in our native bushland brings benefit to animals and humans. Not only is litter unsightly and capable of ruining our experience in nature, it also poses danger to animals and birdlife that may ingest it. Often litter in our suburbs and bushland ends up in a river and we all know where our rivers lead to. By removing litter from the land environments, we are ensuring that it doesn’t end up in our oceans.
