BUSHWALK: Heart of The Bidjigal

Saturday 19th February 2022

Join Us For a Sunrise Bushwalk in Aid of Cancer Research.
All proceeds from this event go to our Cancer Research Campaign. This Saturday we visit sections of Bidjigal Reserve with its Aboriginal connections dating as far back as 40,000 years. Primarily a circuit walk, these lands open up to tall native forest, plentiful birdlife and lovely rock architecture along with an Aboriginal shelter. It’s worth having a camera along for this walk. Bidjigal Reserve is a place of rugged natural beauty, full of hidden treasures, a time capsule of ancient eco systems. Please ensure you bring a fold-up chair for our after-walk morning tea which will be held
 in a delightful parkland setting.

Preliminary event briefing, catered morning tea plus you'll get to meet like minded people while having a lot of fun, not ot mention the health benefits of bushwalking and being with nature.

Participants are asked to meet at Grangewood Place Reserve, corner of Bron Close & Grangewood Place, West Pennant Hills for a 7.30am commencement.

Dress for the conditions and wear sturdy shoes and a hat. Take water, energy food and sunscreen. We recommend 1litre of water if the weather is hot.  Dependent on individual fitness levels, this bushwalk is expected to finish for the start on morning tea between 10.30am and 11.00am. .
